Storyline:
Set in March 2020 in Infiesto, Piloña, against the backdrop of the enforcing of the COVID-19-related State of Alarm in Spain, the plot follows two detectives who are called to a small mining town in the Asturian mountains where a young woman who had been left for dead for months has suddenly appeared, leaving the detectives to question what dark forces are at work.

The film title is a real-life location: Infiesto is a small mining town belonging to the municipality of Piloña, in the Principality of Asturias (north-west to Spain). Infiesto is distant about 39 km (24 mi) east to Asturias’ capital Oviedo, having a population of about 2,400 inhabitants according to the census of 2021.
The English translation of Infiesto is “haunted”.
Filming took over 7 weeks, taking place in Asturian and Galician locations, including Infiesto, the San Rafael Hospital in A Coruña, and the San Amaro Hermitage in Seoane, Forcarei.
