Storyline:
A non-confrontational Jayesh (Ranveer Singh) decides to defy his patriarchal family and flee with his pregnant wife Mudra (Shalini Pandey) to save their unborn daughter from feticide. A screwball, hilarious chase begins as Jayesh’s father (Boman Irani) assembles all his might to nab them. Will this unlikely hero manage to create a safe and equal haven for his daughter?

About Jayeshbhai Jordaar Movie:
Principal photography on the film began on December 4, 2019, in Mumbai, which later shifted to Gujarat. The film wrapped up on February 7, 2020.
Shalini Pandey, the actress known for her role in Arjun Reddy (2017), made her Hindi debut in this film as the lead actress.
The film marks Ranveer Singh’s sixth collaboration with Director-Producer, Aditya Chopra, the Chairman and CEO of Yash Raj Films which started with Band Baaja Baaraat in 2010, launching the actor into feature films.
The film met to multiple release date postponements during 2020–2021, as it wasn’t unveiled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with makers waiting to release it theatrically rather than releasing it on OTT platforms.
Jayeshbhai Jordaar was released theatrically on May 13, 2022, and received mixed reviews from critics. The film did not perform well and was a huge commercial failure, causing great losses for the makers.
Jayeshbhai Jordaar earned ₹3.25 crore at the domestic box office on its opening day. On the second day, the film collected ₹4 crore. On the third day, the film collected ₹4.75 crore, taking total domestic weekend collection to ₹12 crore.
As of 27 May 2022, the film grossed ₹18.56 crore in India and ₹7.75 crore overseas, for a worldwide gross collection of ₹26.31 crore.
