‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Trailer: Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone Unleash Epic Sci-Fi Adventure
The highly anticipated trailer for the Indian sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has finally been released, showcasing an impressive ensemble cast consisting of Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, this film is set to be one of the most expensive Indian films ever made, with an estimated budget of ₹600 crore ($72 million).
The trailer takes viewers on a journey to the post-apocalyptic city of Kasi in 2898 AD, where currency is measured in units and there is scarcity of food and water. The story revolves around the mythological story of Kalki, the 10th avatar of Vishnu, who is said to bring an end to the Kali Yuga, the darkest period in human history.
The trailer introduces Prabhas as Bhairava, an avatar of Vishnu, who works alongside the AI-enabled car BU-JZ-1 or Bujji. Deepika Padukone plays Padma, who is carrying a god in her womb. Amitabh Bachchan portrays Ashwatthama, an immortal character who predicts the arrival of a new force of power. Kamal Haasan is cast in a negative role, and Disha Patani is seen fighting Prabhas.
The trailer is packed with action and world-building, outstanding BGM, showcasing stunning visuals and high-octane stunts.
