About Movie:
Kids vs. Aliens is an American science fiction horror film directed by Jason Eisener and written by John Davies and Eisener.
It is the second spin-off film in the V/H/S franchise and a feature-length adaptation of “Slumber Party Alien Abduction”, the filmmaker’s segment from the 2013 anthology horror film V/H/S/2.
Principal photography for the film began in December 2021 in Nova Scotia. The film was shot in the house owned by director Jason Eisener’s parents. This same house was previously used for Eisener’s V/H/S/2 segment, “Slumber Party Alien Abduction.”
The story initially took place in the summer in an earlier draft of the script. This was eventually changed to autumn because the film was shot in December.
The character of Samantha is based on director Jason Eisener’s older sister.
The film had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 23, 2022, and was released in the United States on January 20, 2023, by RLJE Films and Shudder.
