Storyline:
William of Normandy and Harold of Wessex were two individuals destined to meet at the Battle of Hastings in 1066; they were allies but had no claim to the British monarchy until fate drove them into a conflict over the country’s crown.

King and Conqueror is an upcoming historical drama television series created by Michael Robert Johnson and directed by Baltasar Kormákur. The series stars James Norton, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Clémence Poésy, Emily Beecham, Luther Ford, Joseph Mawle and Eddie Marsan.
The project was announced in November 2023. Filming for the series began in March 2024 in Iceland. Shooting locations include Heiðmörk and around Reykjavík.
