About Movie:
Kites is a Hindi romantic action thriller film directed by Anurag Basu, with the story written and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut, and Kabir Bedi.
Kites was released on May 21, 2010, in India and North America, making it the largest Bollywood release in North America at that time with 208 theaters. It was also the first Bollywood film to reach the weekend top ten in North America, although it was surpassed in the first-weekend gross by My Name is Khan. Despite a strong opening, Kites only managed to collect ₹47 crore (approximately US$10.28 million) net during its lifetime run, resulting in a critical loss. The film faced criticism for its multilingual narrative, featuring a majority of dialogue in English and Spanish while being marketed as a Hindi-language film.
