Storyline:

In his quest for an honest fortune to provide for his sisters marriage, Kotee defies the powerful gang leader Dinoo Saavkar. When Kotees defiance leads to mounting debts, he faces a life-altering choice to eliminate or be eliminated.

About Kotee Movie:

Kotee is a Kannada thriller drama film directed by debutant Parameshwar Gundkal and produced by Jyothi Deshpande under the banner of Jio Studios Banner. The film stars Dhananjaya, Moksha Kushal, Ramesh Indira, Rangayana Raghu and Tara. The movie marks Jio Studios’ entry into Kannada cinema.

In April 2023, It was reported that Parmeshwar Gundkal, who is known on television circuits for directing serials, and reality shows and rose to fame with Big Boss Kannada was set to make his entry into the silver screen. He joined hands with Jio Studios for the same and Dhanajaya was chosen to headline the project.

Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan was also rumored to be part of the cast. However, Later Moksha Kushal was roped into playing the female lead. Though the title was initially kept under wraps, Dhananjaya had accidentally revealed the name of the movie in one of his Interviews. Ramesh Indira who had impressed in the 2023 Kannada romantic drama film Sapta Sagaradaache Ello was cast as the antagonist in the movie.

The film was majorly shot in and around Mysore.

The first look poster of the film was released on 09 April 2024 on the occasion of Ugadi. A few days later the first look of the female lead Moksha Kushal was revealed. The teaser of the film was released on 13 April 2024

The film was theatrical release on 14 June 2024.
