Storyline:
A humble autorickshaw driver leads a happy and contented life with his ambitious siblings. However, his siblings are unaware of their brother’s past.
About Kotigobba Movie:
Kotigobba was a remake of Rajinikanth’s 1995 Tamil film Baashha which itself was inspired by the 1991 Hindi movie Hum.
The film was directed by Naganna and features a soundtrack from Deva who also composed the music for the Tamil version.
Kotigobba was theatrically released on 16 November 2001, met with very good reviews, and was declared as one of the biggest blockbusters completing a successful 30 weeks at the box office the success function was held at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall in Bengaluru on Saturday, 16 March 2002. In 2012, director Suresh Krishna who made the original version announced that he would be making a sequel to this film in the Kannada language. Vishnuvardhan was nominated for the Filmfare Best Actor category.
The film met with very good reviews and was declared as one of the biggest blockbusters completing a successful 30 weeks at the box office the success function was held at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall in Bengaluru on Saturday, 16 March 2002.
