Storyline:
The narrative follows Varun Srivastav (Ranveer Singh), a conman who poses as an archaeologist to gain access to the Zamindar’s estate where he intends to execute his plan. He falls in love with Pakhi Roy Chaudhary (Sonakshi Sinha), the zamindar’s daughter, who is sheltered and suffers from asthma. Their romance blossoms amidst the changing socio-political landscape, but Varun’s secret threatens to unravel their relationship. Lootera is a Hindi period romantic drama film directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, inspired by O. Henry’s short story The Last Leaf.
