M3GAN 2.0 (Megan 2) is an upcoming American science fiction horror film directed by Gerard Johnstone. It stars Allison Williams, Jenna Davis, Violet McGraw, and Amie Donald. It is a sequel to M3GAN (2023).
In November 2022, The New York Times reported that Universal was pleased by how the film turned out and is planning to make a sequel. In January 2023, Johnstone confirmed talks of a sequel, with Wan explaining that he has an “idea of where sequels would go”.
The film was scheduled to be released on January 17, 2025, but was pushed back to May 16, 2025.
