Storyline:

Magadheera was released on July 31, 2009, receiving critical acclaim and commercial success. It was the first Telugu film to enter the ₹100 crore club, grossing ₹150.25 crore at the end of its theatrical run and collecting a distributor’s share of ₹72.5 crore. The film became the highest-grossing Telugu film in history at that time, with a remarkable 1000-day theatrical run that surpassed Chandramukhi (2005) as the longest-running South Indian film.
The film won multiple awards, including the National Award for Best Choreography and Best Special Effects at the 57th National Film Awards, as well as six Filmfare Awards and nine Nandi Awards.
Magadheera was dubbed into Tamil as Maveeran and into Malayalam as Dheera: The Warrior, both released on May 27, 2011, achieving success in those markets as well. Additionally, it was released in Japan in August 2018, becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films at the Japanese box office.
The film has been remade in various languages, including Odia as Megha Sabarire Asiba Pheri (2010) and Bengali as Yoddha: The Warrior (2014). Its success has solidified its status as a landmark in Indian cinema, significantly contributing to the careers of its lead actors.
