Storyline:
In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.

About MaXXXine Movie:
MaXXXine is an American crime horror film written and directed by Ti West. The film stars Mia Goth, who reprises her role as Maxine, alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Halsey, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
It is the third installment in West’s X film series and a direct sequel to X (2022). Ti West announced in March 2022 that he was working on the script for a third movie in the film series, to be set chronologically after the events of X. In September 2022, at the first Midnight Madness showing of Pearl for the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, a third film was officially announced with a short teaser played after the credits.
Bobby Cannavale and Halsey are collaborating for the second time in this film, after Sing 2 (2021).
Principal photography for the film began in April 2023 and ended in May 2023 in Los Angeles for seven weeks. On May 1, 2023, a first-look image of Mia Goth and Halsey in costume as their respective characters was shared on A24’s and the film’s social media accounts.
MaXXXine had its premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on June 24, 2024. It is scheduled to be released in the United States by A24 on July 5, 2024.
Though MaXXXine was originally developed as the end of the X trilogy, Ti West later stated in February 2024 that he has plans for a fourth installment, which would depend on the film’s reception. Later that year, West confirmed that he was working on a fourth film and that he may develop it as his next project.
