  • Bombay Talkies is a Hindi anthology film consisting of four short films, starring Rani Mukerji, Randeep Hooda, Saqib Saleem, Vineet Kumar Singh, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Sadashiv Amrapurkar.
  • Bombay Talkies is the first of three anthology films from Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar, and Anurag Kashyap, being followed by Lust Stories in 2018 and Ghost Stories in 2020, the latter two being released on Netflix.
  • The film was released on 3 May 2013, coinciding with and celebrating the 100th year of Indian cinema and the beginning of a new era in modern cinema. It screened at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival on 17 May 2013.
