Smile 2 is an upcoming American horror mystery thriller film written and directed by Parker Finn. The film stars Naomi Scott, Lukas Gage, Kyle Gallner, and Rosemarie DeWitt.
It is a sequel to the 2022 film ‘Smile‘.
Kyle Gallner is the only actor to reprise his role from the first film so far.
In April 2023, Paramount Pictures officially announced at CinemaCon 2023 that a sequel had been green-lit and was in pre-production, with Parker Finn once again serving as writer and director.
Principal photography began from January to March 2024 throughout Hudson Valley, New York, with primary locations in Newburgh, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, Albany, and New York City.
Smile 2 is scheduled to be released on October 18, 2024.
