Narashimha Avatar is a Nepali action drama film written and directed by Diwakar Bhattarai and produced under the banner of Creative Cine Arts. The film is the much-awaited comeback of MahaNayak Rajesh Hamal after eight years, returning to the big screen in a powerful mythological-action role.

Narsimha Avatar was officially announced on August 8, 2024. Shooting began on September 26, 2024, with a traditional puja ceremony.

In August 2024, it was revealed that Niti Shah, Dipa Shahi, Prashant Tamrakar, Saroj Khanal, Raj Katuwal, Arjun Shrestha, and Prakash SJB Kunwar would be starring in the film. Later in September 2024, more cast were announced, including Rejiv Jung Basnet, Ramesh Chand Sodari, Amit Giri, child actress Avelina Khadka, debutant Usha Khadgi, Prabhu Shrestha, and others.

On March 31, 2025, the first-look poster of Narsingha Avatar was unveiled, featuring Rajesh Hamal in a rugged, warrior-like avatar. He stands tall amidst a chaotic battlefield, radiating strength and determination, while the fierce imgae of Lord Narasimha looms behind him, symbolizing divine power, protection, and justice.

Narasimha is known as the fierce fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, one of the ten avatars in Hindu scriptures. In this form, Lord Vishnu appeared as half-man, half-lion to kill the demon king Hiranyakashipu and save his devotee, Prahlada.

The theme poster of the film suggests a story of conflict for the sake of peace, indicating that the movie will be based on this powerful mythological tale.

The official trailer for Narasimha Avatar was released on May 8, 2025, and gained over 600k views within 24 hours. The trailer features Rajesh Hamal in a different and dangerous avatar.
