Storyline:

The story follows Nick Daley, the son of Larry Daley, as he becomes a night guard at the Museum of Natural History. As he navigates his new responsibilities, Nick encounters Kahmunrah, the main antagonist from Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009). The film explores Nick’s adventures as he deals with the challenges of keeping the museum exhibits under control while facing Kahmunrah’s schemes.

Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again (also known as Night at the Museum 4: Kahmunrah Rises Again) is an animated fantasy comedy film directed by Matt Danner and written by Ray DeLaurentis and William Schifrin. This film is the first animated installment in the Night at the Museum series and serves as a sequel to Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014).

Production Details

Unlike previous live-action films, 1492 Pictures was not involved in this project. The film is produced by Atomic Cartoons and marks a shift in animation style for the franchise.

Release and Reception

Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again was released on December 9, 2022, exclusively on Disney+. It received generally positive reviews from critics, who appreciated its humor and animation style.
