A young Inuk mother tries to reinvent herself after a spontaneous and extremely public exit from her marriage with the town’s golden boy in a tiny, tight-knit Arctic town. She must navigate the unpredictable, and often hilarious, highs and lows that come with relationships, motherhood, a new job, and finding her own way.

North of North is a Canadian comedy television series created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril. Directors include Anya Adams, Danis Goulet, Zoe Leigh Hopkins, Lisa Jackson, Renuka Jeyapalan, and Aleysa Young.
Filming commenced in Iqaluit, Nunavut March 14, 2024, and was completed in June 2024. The Iqaluit Curling Club was converted into a sound stage with interior sets to film because there was no studio nearby to film at.
Aglok MacDonald and Arnaquq-Baril’s company, Red Marrow Media, is building a permanent studio, but it was not ready in time for filming the first season of the show.
On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, North of North has an approval rating of 100% based on 18 critics’ reviews.
