The story centers on Mamiya Tetta, a man living with Alzheimer’s disease who dreams of making his record debut-a dream he abandoned in his youth to support his son, Yuta. Despite his memory loss, Tetta remains connected to his loved ones through his passion for music, his supportive family, and close friends.

Our Eternal Song Storyline (Plot)
Tetta Mamiya (Akira Terao) dreamed of making his recording debut as a singer, but he gave up that dream for his son Yuta Mamiya (Tori Matsuzaka). Now, Tetta Mamiya runs a musical instrument shop in Yokosuka. He is a humorous and popular man, who occasionally sings on a local stage in Yokosuka. One day, Tetta Mamiya is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. The only things that keeps him cognizant is his son Yuta Mamiya, his wife Ritsuko Mamiya (Keiko Matsuzaka), his friends and the music that he loves. The only time Tetta Mamiya returns to his true self is when he sings his favorite songs.
