Storyline:

The film begins with Savitramma (played by Bhanumathi Ramakrishna), an industrialist from Delhi, who returns to her native village after many years. During her visit, she reconnects with her old family friend Sitaramaraju, and becomes fond of his daughter, Ganga (Lakshmi). Savitramma wishes to arrange a marriage between Ganga and her westernized grandson, Srinivasa Prasad (Chintu).

To facilitate this, she sends her foster son, Sagar (Jagapati Babu), to prepare the ground for Chintu’s arrival. However, when Chintu arrives, he behaves inappropriately due to his unfamiliarity with Indian customs. Despite his shortcomings, Sagar, who is secretly in love with Ganga, works hard to present Chintu in a favorable light and ensure the engagement proceeds smoothly.
