Storyline:

The film follows a best-selling writer named Hyeon who has been in the slumps for 7 years. Then he meets an aspiring author Yoo-jin, who brings about a change in his values.

About Perhaps Love Movie:

Perhaps Love (Korean: 장르만 로맨스) is a South Korean romantic comedy-drama film directed by Jo Eun-ji, written by Kim Na-deul and produced by Baek Gyeong-suk. The film stars Ryu Seung-ryong, Oh Na-ra, Kim Hee-won and Lee Yoo-young.

It is the directorial debut of actress Jo Eun-ji. On May 2, 2019, it was revealed that Ryu Seung-ryong had been cast in the upcoming comedy film tentatively titled Not the Lips.

Filming began on June 4, 2019, and was completed on September 13. The film was released 2 years after its completion.

Perhaps Love was released theatrically on November 17, 2021, on 1192 screens. As of December 16, 2021, it is the 10th highest-grossing South Korean film of 2021, with a gross of US$4.36 million and 514,260 cumulative admissions.

In April 2022, the film was invited to the 24th edition of the Far East Film Festival in Udine, held from April 22 to 30, 2022. In July 2022, it was also invited to the 21st New York Asian Film Festival, where it was screened at Lincoln Center on July 26.
