Storyline:
Phullwanti is a renowned dancer celebrated across India. She arrives in Pune for a performance at the Peshwa`s court. But her performance is overshadowed by a comment from the court scholar, Venkat Shastri. Determined to seek justice, Phullwanti challenges him, leading to a competition that explores the clash between art and intellect. As the story unfolds, the question remains: which side will prevail as the true victor?
About Movie:
The film marks the directorial debut of actress Snehal Tarde and the producing debut of actress Prajakta Mali under her banner, Shivoham Creations Pvt. Ltd. Filming was completed by mid-July 2024. In September 2024, a poster unveiled additional cast members, including Prasad Oak, Vaibhav Mangle, Hrishikesh Joshi, Kshitish Date, and Snehal Tarde herself.
The project was officially announced on Akshaya Tritiya 2024 with a motion poster. Prajakta Mali’s look was revealed on her birthday, along with the release date. Gashmeer Mahajani’s character motion poster was released on September 5, 2024, coinciding with Teachers’ Day. The teaser, launched on September 21, showcased stunning sets, historical characters, high production values, and impactful dialogues, earning widespread praise.
Phullwanti was theatrically released on October 11, 2024.
