Polaris (Korean: 북극성) is an upcoming South Korean action romantic drama television series directed by Kim Hee Won and written by Jung Seo Kyung. The series stars Kang Dong Won and Jun Ji Hyun in the lead roles.
Filming for the series began on March 25, 2023, and is expected to conclude in September 2024.
This marks the first collaboration between Kang Dong Won and Jun Ji Hyun. This drama also marks Kang Dong-won’s return to television after nearly 20 years, with his last TV drama being SBS’s “Magic,” which ended in 2004.
Polaris is expected to be released on Apple TV+ in 2024.
