Storyline:

Porattu Nadakam tells the story of a village called Gopalapura, set against the backdrop of North Malabar. The events that unfold in Gopalapura over 21 days are presented through satire. Traditional art forms like Kothamuriyatam and Porattu Nadakam serve as the main background.

Porattu Nadakam is a Malayalam comedy film directed by Noushad Saffron and written by Suneesh Vaaranadu. It is produced by Vijayan Pallikara under the banner of Emirates Productions.

The film stars Saiju Kurup, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Ramesh Pisharody, Arjun Vijay, Rahul Madhav, Nirmal Palazhi, Sooraj Thelakkadu, and Shukoor Vakeel. The cinematography is done by Noushad Shereef, with the film score and songs composed by Rahul Raj.

The film was officially announced on January 26, 2023, with principal photography beginning on March 9, 2023, in Kanhangad, Kerala. The film was completed in a single schedule, with 90% finished by April 11. The remaining portion was completed in September.

The film marks the first collaboration between director Noushad Saffron and Rahul Raj.
