Pushpa 2: The Rule Runtime Revealed: Allu Arjun starrer to be one of the longest Indian films?

The highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule, is set to make its theatrical debut on December 5, 2024. As excitement builds among fans, recent reports have confirmed that the film’s runtime will be approximately 3 hours and 21 minutes. This duration makes it one of the longest Indian films in recent years, surpassing the runtime of other notable films like SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal.
The extended runtime has generated mixed reactions. While many fans are excited about the film’s length, which suggests a more in-depth narrative, there are concerns regarding the implications for theater scheduling. Longer runtimes can lead to fewer daily screenings, which might affect box office performance.
Director Sukumar, who helmed the first installment, returns to direct this sequel. The film stars Allu Arjun reprising his role as Pushpa Raj, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj.
