Storyline:

A sleazy film director attempts to shoot an erotic horror movie in a house where, unbeknown to him, a demonic spirit resides. Even before the crew starts filming, the spirit possesses the lead actress’s body.

Ragini MMS 2 is a Hindi horror thriller film directed by Bhushan Patel and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. The film features Sunny Leone and Saahil Prem in lead roles in a continuation of the plot from the prequel. It is the sequel to the 2011 horror movie Ragini MMS.

The movie is not shot in found footage format like the previous film Ragini MMS. Sunny Leone wore a bikini for the shower make-out scene, which was later digitally altered to give the appearance of nudity. Karan Mehra, who plays the TV actor, initially had a problem with the sex scene with Sunny Leone. She had to make him comfortable and ironically seduce him to perform the scene.

Ragini MMS 2 was released on March 21, 2014. It received an A certificate. The film was a major commercial success, being declared a hit at the box office, and catapulting Sunny as a mainstream actress.

Ragini MMS 2 had a strong opening day, collecting ₹8 crore despite competition from the T20 World Cup. The film managed an opening weekend of ₹24 crore. Despite good reviews as an adult film, it struggled in its second week, collecting only ₹6.5 crore. The film showed a rapid rise and fall in its third week, collecting almost ₹7 crore, totaling about ₹47 crore over three weeks.
