Storyline:
The film tells the inspiring story of a slow-moving mammal needing speed. To save his grandmother’s home from demolition, young Zhi wages a bet with Vainglorious, the reigning champion of the rally car circuit. With help from a former racing champion, Zhi enters the four-day Silk Road Rally in hopes of winning the cup and living out his racing dreams.

Rally Road Racers, originally titled Silk Road Rally, is an animated sports comedy film written and directed by Ross Venokur. The film features an ensemble cast including Jimmy O. Yang, J.K. Simmons, Chloe Bennet, Lisa Lu, Sharon Horgan, Catherine Tate, and John Cleese. The story follows novice racer Zhi competing to save his rural village from the clutches of the villainous racer and real-estate developer, Archie Vainglorious.
The film is an international co-production between the UAE, UK, and US, produced by several companies including REP Productions 6 Ltd. and Vanguard Animation. It was released in the United States by Viva Kids on May 12, 2023, and despite its limited theatrical run, it received favorable reviews from critics.
