Four friends Naveen Bansal (Naveen), Jitendra Maheshwari (Jitu), Yogendra Kumar (Yogi) and Saurabh Mandal (Mandal), decide to enter the start-up world by launching their own start-up. Things are kicked off by Naveen who, angry at not being given his due at work, resigns in a drunk state. At the same time, he receives news of his B-Plan reaching the final round of the NASSCOM start-up conclave. This begins a series of situations in which the four friends rediscover what they really want in life and the challenges they face in getting their start-up idea off the ground.

It’s story is inspired from HBO TV series “Silicon Valley” but the plot is well designed in accordance with Indian audience who are not well aware of the Idea of Startup.

The first season of TVF Pitchers has been well received by the internet audience. The first episode has more than 7.7 million views.

It holds an impressive 9.1 on IMDb, making it one of the highest-rated TV shows on the site.

TVF Pitchers is the first ever web series to be released directly through TVF Play with its inception in early 2015.

The last episode of the series was unveiled on TVF on 30 August 2015 and in YouTube a day later.

TVF Pitchers season 1 consisted of five episodes and premiered online on TVF’s content portal TVFPlay on 10 June 2015. A week later, on 17 June, it premiered on YouTube. The season finale premiered on TVFPlay on 30 August 2015. The show was highly appreciated and has since developed a cult status.

After almost 7 years, on 23 December 2022, season 2 was released with 5 episodes and received a largely positive response.

Naveen is pissed off at his company for not letting him lead a project, for which he worked really hard. His mentor Bhati asks him a fundamental question ‘What are you?’. Naveen and his friends discover the answer to it in different ways.

While the whole idea of startup is of 3 friends. Naveen’s roommate and IIM graduate Mandal want to enter the team and make the 3 realize why they need him.

Now the team is united, ready for their start-up. But, Funding? Investors? Naveen and the guys go around the town looking for investors discovering the plethora of start-ups.

Naveen, Mandal and Yogi pick up from where they left off to make it or break it at the event under any circumstance, while Jeetu has an agenda of his own to take care at home. The events unfold parallel to each other.
