Storyline:
Two young assistants in New York City realize they can make their lives easier by setting up their workaholic bosses to date. While trying to perpetuate this romantic ruse between their nightmare bosses, the assistants realize they themselves might actually be right for each other.
About Movie:
In February 2016, Emilia Clarke was cast in the film, with Katie Silberman writing the screenplay. Justin Nappi and Juliet Berman were set to produce under their TreeHouse Pictures banner, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer was initially slated to distribute.
By March 2017, Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell joined the cast, with Deutch replacing Clarke. Claire Scanlon was announced as director, and Netflix ultimately replaced MGM as the film’s distributor. In June 2017, Taye Diggs, Lucy Liu, and Joan Smalls also joined the cast.
Principal photography began in June 2017 in New York City.
The film was released on June 15, 2018, by Netflix, receiving generally positive reviews from critics.
