Storyline:
A dedicated family man becomes obsessed with saving the lives of the car accident victims on the sharp corner in front of his house – an obsession that could cost him everything.
About Movie:
Sharp Corner is based on the short story of the same name by Russell Wangersky. The film stars Ben Foster, Cobie Smulders, Alexandra Castillo, Gavin Drea, Reid Price, Julia Dyan, and Jonathan Watton.
Buxton’s second feature film, after Blackbird (2012), began development in the late 2010s. Its screenplay was featured at the International Financing Forum during the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. Filming took place in 2023 around Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024.
