About Sitaare Zameen Par Movie
Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports comedy-drama film starring Aamir Khan as a basketball coach who is ordered to teach neurodivergent adults for community service. Genelia Deshmukh also stars in the film.
This marks the first time Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza are appearing together on screen. Interestingly, in 2008, Aamir Khan cast Genelia opposite his nephew Imran Khan in Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, where he served as the producer.
Sitaare Zameen Par is the remake of the Spanish film Champions (2018) and a spiritual sequel to Aamir Khan’s highly acclaimed 2007 film Taare Zameen Par.

The film was officially announced in October 2023. Principal photography began in February 2024, with shooting locations including Mumbai, New Delhi, and Vadodara. The shoot wrapped up in June 2024 after four months of shooting.
