Storyline:

855 women joined the war to fix the three-year backlog of undelivered mail. Faced with discrimination and a country devastated by war, they managed to sort more than 17 million pieces of mail ahead of time.

Six Triple Eight is an upcoming American historical war drama film, based on a 2019 WWII History magazine article by Kevin M. Hymel. It is written and directed by Tyler Perry and stars Kerry Washington, Sam Waterston, Susan Sarandon, and Oprah Winfrey.

In December 2022, it was announced that Tyler Perry would be writing and directing the film for Netflix. Filming began on January 17, 2023, in Atlanta. Production continued in Little Germany, Bradford, in February, and filming took place in Cedartown, Georgia, on March 28, 2023.

Six Triple Eight is expected to be released on Netflix in 2024.
