Storyline:
This documentary examines the impact of the war past and the colonial past. Using filmed interviews, the documentary gives a voice to the post-war generations with roots in the former Dutch East Indies. It shows in a visual way how the past can have an impact. Voices that are expressed in literature, lectures and artistic expressions. Various aspects of the impact of the Indian and colonial influences, two wars and migration are discussed.
