Taxali Gate is a Pakistani crime drama film written and directed by Abu Aleeha. The film stars Ayesha Omer, Yasir Hussain, Babar Ali, Aly Khan, Nayyar Aijaz, Iftikhar Thakur, Mehar Bano, Khaled Anum, Iffat Umer, Umer Alam and Sherhryar Cheena.
The film was shot in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
Taxali Gate marks Ayesha Omar and Yasir Hussain’s third collaboration, following their work together in “Karachi Se Lahore” (2015) and the unreleased film “Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer”.
This film also marks the second collaboration between writer/director Abu Aleeha and actors Ayesha Omar and Yasir Hussain.
Taxali Gate was released theatrically in Pakistan on February 16, 2024.
