Storyline:

Thalavan is about an investigation at a local police station and the hierarchy at that Police force that becomes issue for many and interestingly the makers captioned one of the Posters as, “The ego boundaries are thick and widened at each moment.”

Thalavan is a Malayalam Thriller film directed by Jis Joy and written by Anand Thevarkkat and Sarath Perumbavoor. The film features Asif Ali, Biju Menon, Miya George, Anusree, Ranjith, and Jaffar Idukki in lead roles.

Director Jis Joy, who has previously worked with actor Asif Ali in four films signed the actor again, this time with actor Biju Menon. Debutants Anand Thevarkatt and Sharath Perumbavoor were given an opportunity as screenplay writers.

Biju Menon was signed as a natural choice for the cop, as he had done many cop roles earlier in his career. The director claimed Thalavan as his biggest film in terms of canvas.

Thalavan was theatrically released on May 24, 2024.
