Storyline:
Set five years after the ending of the first film, the film follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force of Valak, the Nun, at a boarding school in France.

About The Nun II Movie:
The Nun II (also known as The Nun: Chapter Two) is an American gothic supernatural horror film directed by Michael Chaves, with a screenplay written by Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing, and Akela Cooper from a story by Cooper.
The film serves as a sequel to The Nun (2018) and the ninth installment in The Conjuring Universe franchise.
In April 2022, Warner Bros. Pictures officially announced the movie as a part of its upcoming slate at the 2022 CinemaCon. The following day, it was announced that Michael Chaves would direct the film.
Preliminary production photography began on April 29, 2022. Filming was originally scheduled to start on September 5, 2022. Principal photography began in France on October 6, 2022, and concluded later that year.
The film was filmed at an actual abandoned church in France.
This was the first film in the Conjuring series to be Filmed in Panavision (anamorphic). All the other films were shot in spherical 2.39:1.
The Nun II was theatrically released on September 8, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
