About The Royals Web Series
The Royals is a Hindi romantic comedy drama television series directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana and written by Neha Veena Sharma. It is produced by Pritish Nandy Communications and stars a large ensemble cast, including Bhumi Pednekar, Ishaan Khatter, Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Vihaan Samat, Dino Morea, and Milind Soman.
Netflix formally announced they would go ahead with the series with Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana slated to direct. Pritish Nandy Communications was assigned the production of the series.
There were lead roles for Bhumi Pednekar, Krish Goswami and Ishaan Khatter. Sakshi Tanwar joined the cast after Mallika Sherawat left the production for creative differences.
Filming began in February 2024 and ended in May 2024. The production took place in Jaipur and Mumbai.
The series received mixed reviews from critics.
