Storyline:

The Wrath of Becky is an American action thriller film directed by Matt Angel and Suzanne Coote. Angel wrote the screenplay based on a story by himself and Coote.

The film’s working title was Becky 2: The Wrath of Becky.

The initial release date for the film was planned for early 2023, but it was delayed. Currently, Quiver Distribution has scheduled the theatrical release of The Wrath of Becky in the United States on May 26, 2023.

Inspired by films like Kick-Ass and the filmography of Edgar Wright, the filmmakers adopted a more comedic tone for the sequel.

For 18 days, production was carried out in secrecy in New Jersey, with supplementary filming taking place in early June in the town of Scotch Plains.

The Wrath of Becky premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 11, 2023. It was previously expected to release in early 2023 and was released in the United States on May 26, 2023.
