Storyline:
In the 18th Century, Tributary Monarch Nirpathunga Varman’s diadem became the centerpiece of an annual carnival. In 1996, a forbidden love affair leads to tragedy, revenge, and a cursed spirit. Two decades later, a stolen diadem resurfaces, triggering the return of a vengeful spirit.

Thookudurai is a Tamil comedy-drama film directed by Dennis Manjunath. The film stars Yogi Babu, Ineya, and Mahesh in the lead roles. The film was produced by Aravind Vellaipandian, and Anburasu Ganesan and co-produced by Vinothkumar Thangaraju under the banner of Open Gate Pictures.
The first look of the film was released on 20 November 2023 and later the teaser was released.
