About Movie:
Triple Frontier is an American action-adventure film directed by J.C. Chandor, who co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Boal. The movie stars Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal.
Principal production was initially planned for August 2017 in Hawaii and Colombia. However, filming officially began on March 26, 2018, in Oahu, Hawaii, after delays. Ben Affleck rejoined the cast alongside Isaac, Hunnam, Hedlund, Pascal, and Adria Arjona.
The title Triple Frontier refers to the Tres Fronteras area in South America, notorious for drug and contraband trafficking.
The film premiered in New York City on March 3, 2019, and was released in select theaters on March 6 before its global release on Netflix on March 13. Triple Frontier received generally favorable reviews from critics.
Netflix reported that the film had over 52 million viewers within its first month of release, a figure that later rose to over 63 million by July 2019.
