Storyline:
A peculiar sound echoes through the sky. Those who hear it faint and eventually vanish. Expert team GUTS-Select investigates but are met with attacks from an alien army and a pitch-black mobile fortress, Zorgaus, piloted by Professor Gibellus who seeks to rule the skies of Earth. As Kanata and crew find themselves in trouble, a mysterious woman who knows Gibellus suddenly appears. The woman, Dinas, possesses a mysterious power. With her “duty to protect,” Dinas and GUTS-Select work together to foil the evil scheme, but a barbaric “Emperor Beast” appears and casts a shadow over the events. Kanata, Dinas, and GUTS-Select begin an all-out battle to decide the fate of the Earth and entire galaxy! —Ultraman Connection
About Movie:
The film was first announced on November 26, 2022, with the first trailer released the same day. The second trailer was released on January 21, 2023, while the name of the mysterious new Ultraman who is set to appear in the film was revealed to be Ultraman Dinas.
The fourth theatrical Ultraman film in the Reiwa era, it tells the story of the struggling fight of GUTS-Select with evil Professor Gibellus, while a mysterious woman, who can transform into Ultraman Dinas, appears to help them.
The film’s theme song, “Sora no Kanata e”, was performed by Hironobu Kageyama.
In Japan, the film was released in theaters and on Tsuburaya Imagination simultaneously on February 23, 2023. The exclusive message from HANE2 and the show’s 10-minute-long recap were shown in theaters before the movie’s screening.
