Storyline:

The story follows a character named Vallavan (played by Santhanam), who is caught in a feud between two families. After learning about his family’s violent past, Vallavan finds himself in a precarious situation when he travels to his ancestral village. The film humorously explores themes of hospitality and rivalry as Vallavan navigates the challenges posed by his family’s enemies while trying to survive and maintain his dignity.

About Movie:

Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham is a Tamil action comedy film directed by Srinath. Released on May 9, 2014, the film is a remake of the successful Telugu film Maryada Ramanna (2010), which was inspired by Buster Keaton’s silent film Our Hospitality (1923).

Produced by PVP Cinema and Santhanam, who also stars in the lead role alongside newcomer Ashna Zaveri, the film features music composed by Siddharth Vipin. The cinematography was handled by S. R. Sathish Kumar.

Upon its release, Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the comedic elements and performances, particularly that of Santhanam, others felt that it did not fully capture the charm of its predecessor. The film performed moderately well at the box office.
