Wife of a 21st Century Prince Storyline (Plot)
Set in the 21st century, with South Korea ruled by a constitutional monarchy. Seong Hee-Ju (IU) is the second daughter the biggest chaebol family in the country, who has nearly everything; a beautiful face, a good-brain, and she is very competitive. Seong Hee-Ju has never cared that she is not in the royal family but as her commoner status starts to interfere in her life it is cause for concern. This caveat leads her to get entangled with Prince Yian (Byeon Woo-Seok), the second son of the King. Prince Yian will never have anything but royal status. He always hides him from people, but once he has an acquaintance with Seong Hee-Ju, he starts to grow.
