12 Gaun (Nepali: १२ गाउँ) is a Nepali action drama film directed by Biraj Bhatta and written by Santosh Sarkar. Produced by Saraswati Bhatta under Biraj Bhatt Film Production, the film was released on October 10, 2024, during the Dashain festival.
The cast includes Biraj Bhatta, Samir Bhatt, Sonu Chandrapal, Deeya Maskey, Murali Dhar, Sanisha Bhattarai, Naren Khadka, and Nancy Khadka. It marks the film debut of Samir Bhatt, Sanisha Bhattarai, and Nancy Khadka, as well as the Nepali debut of Indian actress Sonu Chandrapal.
Released alongside Jwai Saab and Chhakka Panja 5, 12 Gaun received mixed reviews from critics. However, Samir Bhatt’s performance and background score were widely praised, earning positive feedback from audiences.

The success catapulted Samir Bhatt to stardom and marked a significant comeback for Biraj Bhatt in the Nepali film industry. Within 51 days of its release, 12 Gaun collected रु 26.40 crore in Nepal and रू51.40 crore (US$3.8 million) worldwide, solidifying its position as the second-highest-grossing Nepali film in the country.
