Storyline:
Sometimes, the monster chasing you is a rumour. Rahab Ahmed – a top advertising professional and Nivedita Singh – a political heiress, find no place to hide as they get entangled in a vicious rumour created by the social media machinery. - The film was announced on February 17, 2022. Principal photography commenced on June 21, 2022 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
- Afwaah was released theatrically on May 5, 2023 by AA Films. The film was released alongside The Kerala Story and got very limited release with odd show timings.
- Nawazuddin Siddiqui parted ways from the film’s promotion as he wasn’t happy with the limited screens given to the film with odd timings.
- Tapsee Pannu declined the film as she wasn’t keen to work with Nawaazuddin Siddiqui.
