About A Quiet Place: Day One Movie:
A Quiet Place: Day One is an American science fiction horror film starring Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou, and Denis O’Hare. The film is a co-production between Paramount Pictures, Sunday Night Productions, and Platinum Dunes.
It is intended to be a spin-off prequel and the third overall installment of the A Quiet Place film series.
In April 2022 at CinemaCon, the film’s title was officially announced as A Quiet Place: Day One. Principal photography began on February 6, 2023, in London and was completed on April 11.
Jeff Nichols was originally set to direct but was pulled out of the project because of another Paramount sci-fi project.
The world premiere of A Quiet Place: Day One was held at the Tribeca Festival on June 26, 2024, as a special presentation taking place after the festival itself, which was held from June 5–16. It was released in the United States by Paramount Pictures on June 28, 2024. It was previously scheduled to be released on March 31, 2023, then on September 22, 2023, and on March 8, 2024. It is one of the highest-grossing movies of 2024.
