Storyline:
Inspired by Nicholas Hogg’s 2015 novel Tokyo Nobody, A Sacrifice is an emotionally turbulent story that follows American social psychologist Ben Monroe who is investigating a local Berlin cult connected to disturbing events. While he immerses himself in his work, his rebellious teenage daughter, Mazzy, becomes embroiled with a mysterious local boy who introduces her to the city’s underground party scene. As their two worlds head toward a dangerous intersection, Ben will need to race against the clock in order to save his daughter.–Vertical

A Sacrifice is a psychological thriller film based on the 2015 novel Tokyo by Nicholas Hogg. Written and directed by Jordan Scott, the film stars Eric Bana, Sadie Sink, Jonas Dassler, Sophie Rois, and Sylvia Hoeks.
Filming began in Berlin in September 2022 under the title Berlin Nobody and wrapped by December 2022. In February 2024, Vertical acquired North American distribution rights to the film, which was subsequently retitled to A Sacrifice.
The film was theatrically released in the United States on June 28, 2024, by Vertical.
