About Movie:
Aarathu Sinam is a Tamil slasher crime thriller film written and directed by Arivazhagan. It is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film Memories, directed by Jeethu Joseph. The film features Arulnithi, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Aishwarya Dutta in lead roles, with music composed by Thaman and cinematography by Aravinnd Singh.
Aarathu Sinam was released to mixed reviews from critics. While some appreciated its engaging storyline and performances, particularly that of Arulnithi, others felt it did not fully capture the essence of the original film. Despite receiving positive critical feedback, it was considered an average grosser at the box office.
The film’s adaptation from Memories highlights its connection to successful narratives in Malayalam cinema, showcasing the trend of remaking regional films for wider audiences.
