Storyline:

Madhu, an animator, gets thoughts about her past life, but her psychiatrist believes it to be a figment of her imagination. Madhu happens to meet Ashwin, the man she was in love with in her past life.

About Movie:

Anegan is a Tamil epic fantasy romantic thriller film co-written and directed by K. V. Anand. Produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, S. Ganesh, and S. Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment, the film stars Dhanush and Amyra Dastur in quadruple roles, alongside Karthik, Ashish Vidyarthi, Aishwarya Devan, Mukesh Tiwari, and Jagan in supporting roles.

Upon its release, Anegan received positive reviews from critics who praised its visual style, music, narration, plot, and performances—particularly those of Dhanush, Karthik, and Amyra Dastur. The film was commercially successful at the box office, grossing approximately ₹55 crore.

The film was later dubbed into Telugu as Anekudu (released on February 27, 2015), into Hindi as Anek in 2016 by Goldmines Telefilms Pvt Ltd., into Bengali as Mon Majhi Re in 2019, and into Malayalam with the same title in 2023.

The story is inspired by the 1963 film Nenjam Marappathillai, and its title is derived from Thiruvasagam, a revered Tamil text written by poet Manikkavacakar.
