Storyline:

The Nanda family, based in Milan, Italy, is a powerful family with a huge business empire managed by Raghunanda (Boman Irani), his son (Mukesh Rishi), and his grandson Gautam Nanda (Pawan Kalyan). Raghunanda wishes to reunite with his estranged daughter Sunanda (Nadiya), who was disowned for marrying without the family’s consent. Gautam promises to fulfill this wish and travels to Hyderabad to bring her back.

Upon arrival, Gautam saves his uncle (Rao Ramesh) from a stroke and takes up the job of a driver in his aunt’s household to get closer to her. Convincing his aunt proves challenging, and Gautam remains a stranger to the family while engaging in humorous and flirtatious interactions with his cousins, Sashi (Samantha) and Pramila (Pranitha). As the story unfolds, various characters add depth to the plot.

About Attarintiki Daredi Movie:

Attarintiki Daredi is a Telugu action comedy-drama film starring Pawan Kalyan, Samantha, Pranitha Subhash, Nadhiya, Boman Irani, and Brahmanandam. It was written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

Trivikram Srinivas planned the project in late January 2011. The film was launched on November 23, 2012, at Venkateswara temple in Film Nagar. Filming began on January 24, 2013, at a private hotel in Hyderabad and wrapped on 14 July 2013.

The shooting of the film to place in various locations such as Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, Spain, and Switzerland. A significant portion of the film was also shot on a large house set erected in Ramoji Film City by art director Ravinder, which cost around INR 30 million (US$460,000).

This movie marks the debut of Hindi actor, Boman Irani in the Telugu film industry.

According to reports, 90 minutes of the film had been leaked to the Internet even before its release. Despite this, the movie became one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time.

Attarintiki Daredi was released on September 27, 2013, and received positive reviews from critics. Made on a budget of ₹55 crore, it became one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time. Apart from India, the film was released in key overseas markets including the US, UK, Germany, Canada, and Dubai. It was released in 1800+ theaters all over the globe.

The film won four Nandi Awards, four Filmfare Awards South, and the B. Nagi Reddy Memorial Award. It was remade in Kannada as Ranna (2015), in Bengali as Abhimaan (2016), and in Tamil as Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven (2019).
