The film marks the directorial debut of Moritz Mohr. The film was announced on October 7, 2021. The film was shot in Cape Town, South Africa. Samara Weaving was cast on June 27, 2021, but stepped down due to scheduling conflicts and was replaced by Jessica Rothe. Boy Kills World premiered at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, and is scheduled to be released in the United States by Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions on April 26, 2024.

The Crow is an upcoming American action supernatural superhero fantasy film directed by Rupert Sanders and starring Bill Skarsgård as Eric Draven / The Crow alongside FKA Twigs, Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila, and Jordan Bolger. The film is based on the 1989 limited comic book series of the same name by James O’Barr. It will be the fifth installment in The Crow film series, serving as a reboot. It was originally planned to be released on the 25th anniversary of the original The Crow (1994). But the film never began production. The Crow is Edward R. Pressman’s final produced film in his lifetime before his tragic passing on January 11, 2023.
Principal photography began on July 13, 2022, in Prague, Czech Republic, and officially wrapped production on September 16, 2022. Filming was previously set to commence in June 2022. The Crow is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on June 7, 2024, by Lionsgate Films. The film’s international distribution rights were shopped to various buyers at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival in May 2022.
Nosferatu
Nosferatu is an upcoming American fantasy horror mystery film written, directed, and co-produced by Robert Eggers. The film stars Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Lily-Rose Depp, Emma Corrin and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Following Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979), it is the second remake of the 1922 German Expressionist film of the same name written by Henrik Galeen and directed by F. W. Murnau, which in turn is an “unauthorized and unofficial” adaptation of Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula. This makes the third collaboration between Robert Eggers and Ralph Ineson after The Witch (2015) and The Northman (2022).
In July 2015, a remake of Nosferatu was announced with Robert Eggers writing and directing. It is the fourth feature film directed by Eggers. Development of the film began in 2015. Filming began in the Barrandov Studios in Prague at the end of February 2023. Some exterior shots were also captured in Romania. Filming wrapped on May 19, 2023. Nosferatu is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2024, by Focus Features domestically and Universal Pictures internationally.
